Sublime Text 3: Project Manager

Long time ago I switched my favorite editor to Sublime Text 3 — when I finally got into it and learned how to successfully configure that awesome editor.

Now, after a break I started Sublime Text and… whooop! — the project list is empty. To keep this post small, here is what I did:

Hold down Shift + Command + P, enter Preferences: Project Manager Settings and look down the settings. If your configuration file looks like this one here, you might fix the problem like me.

    "projects_path": ["~/Documents/Projekte"],

Remove the tilde from the path and replace it with the full path. In the end the line above should look more like this one here:

    "projects_path": ["/Users/dominic/Documents/Projekte"],

Voilà! We got our projects back.
